Archer hosted a large event for many of their international customers and prospects. Held on a small island off the coast of Norway, it was timed with an industry event that would be occurring nearby. The objective was to concept and design a direct mail piece that was smart, witty, informative and impossible to throw away. Ultimately, the project succeeded in garnering a high attendance of customers and prospects at the event.
The solution was to tell the story in the context of a fake passport. As a destination event, the vast majority of customers and prospects would be coming in from out of the country and even traveling off the coast of Norway. The textures would be selected in the print stock to mimic that of a passport and the design would tie in the information for the event. Who throws away a passport?
