At one point or another, we are all patients. More importantly, we are all human—humans that don’t want to be patients. The Memorial Hermann brand is about creating a welcoming environment in which patients feel supported and encouraged to practice self-care on a regular basis. By attaching patient/doctor relationships and frequent check-ups to the “wellness” category, they help break through “doctor avoidance” to create a healthier mindset with patients in supporting more proactive healthcare versus reactive.
